The Darkness II CRACK FIX
Description:
This crack allows you to save the game successfully as well as play the Vendetta
missions/campaign without any problems. It also allows you to return to the main menu without crashing to a black screen.
This crack is what I would like to call a “2-in-1″ crack.
On the one side, you can play the game without Steam & Greenluma (GL is a cracked steam client)
but you’ll sacrifice gore and dismemberment.
On the other side, you can play the game like the way it’s meant to be played
(full gore and dismemberment) but for this you’ll require Steam & Greenluma.

THE CRACK ISN’T A TROJAN, SO IGNORE/DISABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS TO BE ABLE TO COPY IT TO YOUR GAME INSTALLATION, AS IT’S A FALSE POSITIVE!
Instructions for “No Steam” crack variant with minimal gore and no dismemberment restriction:
1. Extract the archive to any location of your choice.
2. Copy the all the files in the root of the archive folder to your game directory, overwriting files when prompted.
3. Make yourself an icon on the Desktop or run the game directly from the exe to start the game.
3. Play the game (with the limitations I stipulated)
Instructions for full gore and dismemberment crack variant with Steam and Greenluma:
1. Extract the archive to any location of your choice.
2. Copy ONLY the following files to your game directory:
a) DarknessII.exe
b) steam_appid.txt
Inside the “For Excessive Gore and Dismemberment” folder, copy the “Tools” folder
to your game directory, overwriting the file when prompted.
3. Copy all the files inside the “Greenluma” folder to the root of your “Cracked Steam” directory.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ON MY MACHINE I HAVE TO SEPARATE FOLDERS, ONE FOR Normal Steam and ONE for Cracked Steam client purposes.
IF YOU HAVE STEAM INSTALLED ALREADY WITH SOME GAMES, DO THE FOLLOWING JUST TO BE SAFE:
a. Make a copy of your current Steam folder and rename it to something like “Steam Cracked” but delete the contents of
your steamapps folder, unless you don’t want to waste unecessary harddrive space if you have have a lot of games installed.
b. Copy the files of “Greenluma” folder to the root of “Steam Cracked” folder and then run the Greenluma.exe file.
PLEASE LOG INTO STEAM, BUT USE A DIFFERENT aka BLANK STEAM ACCOUNT. DON’T LOGIN WITH YOUR EXISTING LEGIT ACCOUNT.
IF YOU DO, YOUR LEGIT ACCOUNT COULD GET BANNED, SO PLEASE DON’T BLAME ME IF IT DOES GET BANNED, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
If you don’t have Steam installed, nor have an account with Steam with some games on, then you can skip steps 3a and 3b and install Steam and perform step number 2, 5, 6 and 7
4. After you logged into Steam, you can minimize Steam, or close it (will put it in the system tray)
5. Make a folder inside your “Steam Cracked” folder’s “steamappscommon” folder called “the darkness ii” (without quotes) and copy your game files to this folder (meaning all the files of your darkness ii installation)
6. Make yourself an icon on the Desktop or run the game directly from the exe to start the game.
7. Play the game like it’s meant to be played
PS: Keep in mind that you’ll need to run “Cracked Steam” every time via the Greenluma exe to startup Steam in the background BEFORE you start the game.
